Google recently named Charlotte one of 34 cities selected for consideration for its broadband network service. Google Fiber can deliver gigabit internet speed up to 100 times faster than basic broadband and could create opportunities for citizens, businesses, and growth within our local economy. City staff would like input from Charlotte residents on what they would want to see from Google Fiber, and explore potential uses. Click here for more information.
